What is EZ Express?It is an intercity bus service managed by the Midland Odessa Urban Transit District, EZ Rider. Operation is contracted out to a vendor. The service is designed for the general public to go from one city to the other for work, school, business, appointments, pleasure, or other purposes during the morning and afternoon peak travel hours.
Where does EZ Express go?
Primarily EZ Express runs between Midland and Odessa, with dedicated Park & Ride locations in each city and drop points at the Downtown Transfer Plazas.
Midland Route: departs the Midland Downtown Transfer Plaza, Midland College Park & Ride, UTPB EZ Rider Bus Stop, UTPB Park & Ride and Odessa Downtown Transfer Plaza.
The 6:15A run only from Midland will go through the Citibank Ballpark for a true Park & Ride pickup.
Odessa Route: departs the Odessa Downtown Transfer Plaza, UTPB Park & Ride, UTPB EZ Rider Bus Stop, Midland College Park & Ride and Midland Downtown Transfer Plaza.
The 5:15P run only from Odessa will go through the Citibank Ballpark for the Park & Ride drop off.
What kind of bus will be on the route?
Mid-Size Coaches are being used on the routes. They seat 25, with 2 wheelchair areas available on each unit.
Can anyone ride theEZ Express?
Yes. It is open to the public and all vehicles are ADA equipped.
Can I bring my bike onEZ Express?
Yes. Each bus is equipped with a bike rack.
Do I have to pay for parking at the Park & Ride locations?
No. The University, College and Citibank Ballpark have provided parking spaces for the dedicated Park & Ride locations.
Do I have to make reservations?
No. Seats are available on a first come first serve basis.
Are bus services available to get me from drop off to where I need to go?
Yes. EZ Express connects with all 6 routes of EZ Rider's fixed route service in both cities at each Downtown Transfer Plaza.
Will I have WiFi access?
Yes. The buses are equipped with WiFi. You can finish school work or start your business day while riding EZ Express.
What are the days and hours of service?
EZ Express runs Monday – Friday, the primary work and school week. The buses operate from 6:15am to 9:15am and again from 3:15pm to 6:15pm.
EZ Express will observe all EZ Rider holidays and weather cancellation days.
Will EZ Express save me money?

The fare is $2 per one way trip when filling in your information for savings calculation.
Will EZ Express fit my personal daily schedule?
Not always. In order to see that savings, an adjustment to travel times or arrival and departure from work or school might have to be made. Personal priorities and needs will determine if you can make it work for you every day or only part of the week.
Are pets allowed on EZ Express?
No. Only registered service animals are allowed in the passenger area.
Will drivers have change?
No. Drivers will not handle money, riders will need to have correct fare amounts.
What is the fare?
A one way fare is $2.00. We also anticipate a monthly pass being available for EZ Express.

Midland: Downtown Transfer Plaza, Texas & Baird

Who funds EZ Express?
Funding for this service comes from the State of Texas, the USDOT Federal Transit Administration and fare box revenue.
